Lady Gaga is set to launch her highly anticipated 2025 arena tour, “The Mayhem Ball,” named after her chart-topping album “Mayhem.” The tour kicks off on July 16, 2025 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The tour was initially planned for 32 dates but was later expanded due to high demand, with tickets selling out rapidly during the first day of general sales. The tour will conclude on Dec. 13, 2025 at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia.
For this tour, Gaga aims to create a more controlled and immersive experience by specifically choosing arena venues that will help deliver a more theatrical experience. The show is designed to bring the “Mayhem” universe to life with greater control over details and storytelling. The album includes a total of 14 songs, including her top hit with Bruno Mars, Die With A Smile.
“Mayhem” is centered around a fictional character whose presence is woven throughout the record’s 14 songs. The album is described as a “genre-bending journey” that reflects her musical influences and life experiences. The album was created to channel her personal struggles and triumphs into music. “Mayhem” dives into the themes of chaos, self discovery and healing. The lyrics include dark and uplifting narratives from Gaga’s personal experiences and broader societal issues. Her single, “Disease” tackles themes of addiction and recovery.
“It’s pretty cool that she’s coming back and doing a tour,” FHS Junior Hasini Musunuru said. “I can’t remember the last time she did a tour. Like, this is the first time I’m seeing it at a sentient age.”
Gaga’s performance at Coachella was set around her album “Mayhem.” The stage included towering structures, two dozen dancers, gothic backdrop, bands, gargoyles and angels. Her setlist included many songs from her new album such as Disease, Abracadabra, Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, Vanish Into You, Killah (feat. Gesaffelstein), Zombieboy, LoveDrug, How Bad Do U Want Me, Don’t Call Tonight, Shadow of a Man, The Beast Blade of Grass and Die With a Smile (feat. Bruno Mars).
“I really [liked] ‘Die With a Smile,’” FHS sophomore Avani Malunjkar said. “[However,] it didn’t sound like her old music.”
Ultimately, Gaga’s performance marks her powerful comeback as fans burst with excitement. As she blends her deep storytelling with her theatrical visuals, fans can expect an unforgettable experience.
