Brian Bahr Goldshtein will be enrolling weat Stanford University, where he plans to study bioengineering. Goldshtein explains why he chose Stanford over other schools.
“The Stanford bioengineering program is the only program in the nation that is not exclusively housed within the Department of Medicine nor the Department of Engineering,” Goldshtein said. “It’s completely a joint collaborative effort, [and] you get access to the best of both worlds, the best of both departments.”
With the barrage of changes that typically come with the high school graduation season, there is a lot to look forward to. The change may be daunting for some, but others, like Goldshtein, may choose to embrace it.
“Fremont High was the longest I’ve been at a school ever, by far, and so I feel like I’ve really grown here and kind of settled in, and I’m excited for the unknown,” Goldshtein said.
