Knots

Natalie Wolff, Staff Writer

There are knots

Thousands of them gnawing at my insides

Tugging at me from every corner

Begging to be unravelled

They twist

And turn

But despite all that

There is hope

It lies within

Her soft brown hair

Her innocent smile

Only she has the key

The power

To ease these knots

To set them free
