It is common for high school seniors to go on a trip when they graduate, to finish off their high school journey on a good note. Senior trips are great for visiting new places with friends and family,  with some popular destinations for recent high school graduates being Florida, Greece and New York City.

From national parks to sprawling beaches, there are a plethora of activities in Miami, Florida, which is why it is so popular among travelers. South Beach, a popular beach in Miami, offers many fun and family-friendly activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding and kite surfing.

“I would like to go to Disney World and visit the beach,” FHS freshman Sarvesh Vinothkumar said.

Another attraction in Florida, Walt Disney World Resort, is a really fun place for teens, with all of its rides and food. Disney World is known for its water parks which make it a great place to visit during summer to cool off from the heat, and with a water park ticket, all of those options become available.

Greece is also a great place to go because of the many memorable activities to do. According to Fodors Travel Guide, there are plenty of activities to do there like trying the food, watching the sunset, sitting on the beach and viewing the beautiful unique architecture, some of which dates back to 900 BCE. One place to visit in Greece is Santorini, an island with rocky cliffs and distinct architecture to explore, along with expansive views of the Mediterranean Sea.

With The Met, Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and its renowned pizza, New York City is arguably  the most iconic city on Earth. Whether one prefers natural scenery or concrete jungle, New York has it all. Located between the Upper West Side and Upper East Side neighborhoods of Manhattan, Central Park, which is an impressive 840 acres big, is arguably one of the most famous parks in the world; tons of visitors visit the park’s vast scenery by riding along its sidewalks, on city rental bikes. Furthermore, with its numerous boroughs and neighborhoods, the city offers visitors an immersive experience of various cultures and atmospheres within a single city.
