Australia — although the world’s smallest continent — has tons of activities perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. It is home to the Great Barrier Reef, a one-of-a-kind coral reef off the east coast. Visitors can take tours in glass bottom boats, marveling at the abundant sea life. Alternatively, people are allowed to scuba dive or snorkel and see the reefs close-up, along with coming into contact with other marine animals. However, if the ocean is not for you, you can go climbing in the Australian outback, or skydive in Byron Bay. From exploring the Australian outback to surfing in the Pacific, there is a lot to see and do on this vast continent.
