Jackets versus hoodies

The annual cost in California to buy new clothes has an average price of $161 including tax. If you are looking for an opportunity to buy new clothes, the first garment you should consider is outerwear, especially hoodies and jackets. At FHS, you can see countless students donning hoodies of all brands and designs, yet rarely are jackets seen worn by students. There is an ordinary price difference between these two, with the main contributor being that there are types of jackets that are more dangerous to make. You need leather to make a jacket, coming from some of Earth’s most reproductive animals: pigs, deerskin, horses, cowhides, goatskins, kangaroos and even crocodiles, just to name a few. Some jacket brands cost well over $100, and that money could be spent on food or other necessities.

Hoodies have been around since medieval times, tracing back to Catholic monks. According to Synergy Clothing Manufacturers, hoodies are more cost-effective than jackets, are typically warmer and take less money into mass producing globally. The cost of a regular hoodie averages around $40, which is $60 less than a regular jacket. Additionally, hoodies are much warmer because they cover your entire upper body, providing more warmth in the winter time. During summer, when the heat is tough jackets are a worse option. Hoodies regularly consist of fabric, cotton and polyester. There can be numerous changes in amounts of polyester and cotton, but that differs from hoodie manufacturers.

Depending on whether it is night or day, the temperature varies. For moderate weather, thin jackets are harder to find. However,  hoodies tend to be thinner, allowing for more warmth and flexibility — something jackets do not do as effectively.

There are even more flaws in the designs of jackets, but there are some in the designs of hoodies. The design flaw in jackets results in hotter heat temperature; if the jacket is too small, it causes tightness and results in the person becoming too hot.

In conclusion, hoodies have reemerged as more popular. If you go around FHS, you will see hoodies, in its form of style, and with  the ability to adapt to movements. If you put one on yourself, you’ll find the comfort of wearing a hoodie.
